Information on the disposal of old batteries
Applies to end users who do not resell batteries or products with built-in batteries in the form in which they were delivered.
1. Free return of used batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste . You are legally obliged to dispose of used batteries properly.
- Disposal at a municipal collection point or local retailer
- We also take back old batteries – limited to battery types that we have or have had as new batteries
- Return options:
- Postal delivery (sufficiently stamped) to our imprint address
- Personal delivery to our shipping warehouse (address see imprint)
2. Meaning of the battery symbols
Batteries are marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. This indicates that batteries do not belong in household waste .
For certain pollutant levels, the chemical abbreviation appears under the symbol:

The symbol shows: Do not dispose of batteries in household waste.
